Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Can itchy Rashes On The Feet And Forearm be Treated?
Yes, please. My six-year-old son broke out in a mild rash on Wednesday it was on top of his feet and on his forearms. It was really itchy and I gave him one dose of Benadryl Wednesday evening. He seem to be better… Thursday and Friday. However, he now has some deeper red dots on the bottom of his feet and on the palms of his hands he also seems to have some red spots around the edge of his lips more on his lip but the edge of it. What could this be?
Your son symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction. I recommend using Benadryl daily. I also recommend to use steroid lotion for local application.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
